Painting has become my
way of life and through the years it has chronicled all that has touched
me, be it a place or a human situation. My figures are contemporary, yet
timeless. They invite the viewer to share the moment with them. When I
look at my body of work, I can fondly remember the where and when.
Once I begin a painting I am relentless until I am satisfied that I have
achieved my goal and captured the feeling I started with. It really is
all about feeling. Over time my unique use of shape, color, and strong
compositions have made my work identifiable.
Over the years, I have exhibited up and down the east coast of the
United States including Newport, RI; Virginia Beach, VA; Greenwich, CT;
and New York City. My paintings are part of private and corporate
collections across the United States from Boston to San Francisco, and
abroad in places such as Paris, France.
I am a graduate of the Hartford Art School of the University of
